Tree & Stump Removal
When a tree in your backyard looks like it's going to fall and cause damage, sometimes the best option is to have it removed. Cutting down a small tree can be a fun weekend activity, allowing you to get your hands dirty and work on your own yard, but trees that get above a certain size can actually be quite dangerous to cut down and require a lot of skills and expertise to remove safely. Instead of putting yourself and others at risk, it's best to speak to a professional about having any large trees and stumps removed, which saves you time and effort.
Assessment Before any of our chainsaws are turned on or ladders are unfolded, we like to thoroughly inspect the tree being removed and check out the area around it. If it's far away from everything then the process is relatively simple but if it's located close to a home or shed then we have to be careful to cut the tree in a manner that protects the environment around it. There are many different techniques to be used when removing a tree, techniques that we have developed over our years of service removing trees safely and effectively from people's properties. Tree Removal Once the tree has been assessed and a plan has been put in place to safely remove the tree, then we will get to work. We have a range of equipment that makes the job go smoothly and safely, using chainsaws, ropes, and ladders to remove the limbs and trunk of the tree. There is a surprising amount of skill that is required to remove a large tree, we place very specific cuts to help the trunk fall in the right direction and then work to break down the tree into smaller chunks that we can then remove from the site for you. Stump Removal Once a tree has been removed you are left with a big stump that can get in the way and be a pain to deal with. Removing a stump by hand can almost be an impossible process, tree roots can spread far and wide and prove it impossible to dig up around it. The easier option is to organize our team to use our stump removal equipment to quickly grind the stump down to below the level of the soil. Our removal equipment uses a motorized disc with large flat teeth to grind the stump away, removing it chunk by chunk until the stump is well below the soil and can be covered over as if it was never there. Green Waste After a tree or stump removal, there is a lot of green waste that needs to be removed from your home. Some people choose to keep the trimmings from the tree as firewood for the winter, and we can also put it through our chipper to turn it into mulch that can be used in your garden, otherwise, we mulch everything and take it to a local waste disposal area. If a tree has been diseased or infected with burrowing insects, then it's best to have the tree fully removed and disposed of than left on your property where it can spread to other plants. |
